The Platinum Prequel is Xander Gibbs first solo album, It's a collection of original songs, penned by Xander, with a couple of tracks written for him by well known composer, Ben Bufton, who used to produce for Melanie Brown AKA Scary Spice.

The majority of the production was done at B.T.A studios in London, by Producer Paul Miles, ex guitarist, Fields of the Nefferlin, and Xander.

Although the album has been a long time coming due to other commitments, the industry response has been most favorable. The general feeling is that it was well worth waiting for. The mixture of Electronic music, and balladic formations have found a side genre of electro-ballad. The songs are all original, and have a unique quality to them.

The Platinum Prequel is well worth listening too. One of the tracks Flames of Addiction, (Playing Now) was used in the Carlton Television Lifestyles, Changing attitudes.
