Favorite role played?

Another very difficult question. I've played everything from a punk, to a vicar, to a drag queen, to a person with learning disabilities. I've played a corpse a few times which was weird. I think I would have to say that my favorite role has to be Joseph (as in the amazing Technicolor dream coat) as I really love acting roles that require me to sing, or talk in a funny voice or accent.

What is your favorite possession?

My voice is my favorite possession as it is the one asset that I can use again and again and not only bring pleasure to myself but also to others.

Which Singer/Pop star do you admire, and why?

Annie Lennox. She has a fabulous voice, a duet would be nice sometime if she has time. Why? (ha ha no pun intended) she has continued to entertain even through personal tragedy. Lady Ga Ga is a very close 2nd.

Full Name & Age?

My full name is Xander Gibb, and my age depends on who's asking

Where do you come from?

I originally come from my momma, but I’m kind of international.

So Lets Get this one out of the way, are you Barry's Grandson, or any relation at all?

No it is just a rumor unfortunately. I'm often asked if there is any link between us but alas no, although I do have a lot of respect for them. I'm often asked on the phone if my name is Andy Gibb, as they sound a little similar. I do resist the temptation to sing down the phone at them most of the time

Love Is...........?

Ooh well that's a bit deep, my first reaction is to say sharper than a two edged sword, or maybe a four letter word, but I guess its a beautiful thing shared by two people who respect, each other and trust each other unconditionally.

Favorite person to work with, & why?

The nicest person I ever sang with has to be Roisin Murphy form Moloko. I met her backstage at a gig and she said she had heard me singing along to all her song's, so I sang with her there and then. Never one to miss an opportunity.

Who do you aspire to work with?

Annie Lennox. Is a Duet possible? You rock, Also, Michael Longoria (Jersey Boys, Broadway Musical), He is really talented and he has a new album out. Check it out @ CD Baby: MICHAEL LONGORIA: Under 1000 Shades of Blue He's HOT too, So watch out Leo Di Caprio........

Favorite movie?

I have several, and choosing my out and out favorite would be so difficult. I love

The pursuit of happiness,

Sex & The City,

What's Love got to do with it,

Matrix (all),

Bridget Jones' Diary, (1 & 2)

Brokeback Mountain, (R.I.P Heath)

Secondhand Lions,

A Home at the end of the world

Precious,

and the list is endless.

Tell us about "The Platinum Prequel" your  album?

Well I see it as my autobiography in song really, and I'm so proud of what I have managed to achieve with some great production. I even co-produced the album which was no mean feat for me. The songs are quite electro, with a balladic quality about them. I write real songs and about things that mean something to me. Mostly love in its many forms I guess but you'll have to listen and form your own opinion.

Motto?

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger (Thanks Dad)
